Pantai Pasir Panjang atau di kenal dengan Long Beach adalah Obyek wisata yang paling menarik di Singkawang Pantai ini dapat dicapai dengan kendaraan selama 20 menit (17 Km) dari pusat Kota Singkawang ke arah Pontianak. Pantai ini dinamakan pantai pasir panjang karena pantai ini beredar sepanjang 3km, dengan diselubungi pasir putih dan air yang tenang.

Pantai ini terletak kurang lebih 15 Km sebelah selatan pusat kota Singkawang dengan fasilitas pendukung yang tersedia seperti kolam renang, motel, pemancingan, restoran, diskotik dan sarana bermain. Terdapat sarana olah raga bermotor seperti track/sirkuit bagi para kawula muda untuk menyalurkan bakatnya dalam road race maupun grass track. Dengan air laut yang tenang pantai ini juga cocok untuk berkembangnya olah raga jetsky dan parasailling. Pasir panjang merupakan kawasan yang strategis karena letaknya dipinggir jalur transportasi antara ibukota propinsi, Pontianak dengan Kota Singkawang dan kota-kota disekitar jalur Utara Kalimantan Barat. Pantai Pasir Panjang telah lama menjadi tempat rekreasi yang terkenal, menghadap ke Laut Natuna serta beberapa pulau kecil di sekitarnya antara lain Pulau Randayan, Pulau Lemukutan dan Pulau Kabung.

Namun sayangnya, dari tahun ketahun pesona indah pantai pasir panjang mulai ternodai. di tandai sejauh mata memandang terdapat banyak tumpukan sampah bekas para pengunjung makan dan minum. Apalagi ketika mulai menjelang libur seperti sekarang ini, berbondong-bondong masyarakat menyempatkan diri berlibur ke sana. hal ini dikarenakan harga tiket hanya di patok sekitar Rp. 5000 / orang dewasa.

Disekitar pantai, pengunjung tidak perlu takut kelaparan atau kehausan, atau bahkan kehilangan sinyal dari handphone. karena beberapa tahun terakhir, sejumlah provider-provider telepon seluler sudah bisa anda nikmati walaupun anda berada di sekitar pasir panjang. juga di sepanjang sisi pantai terdapat pondok-pondok yang menyediakan berbagai makanan laut untuk anda nikmati bersama keluarga. bahkan jika anda malas untuk meninggalkan tempat duduk anda, akan ada para anak kecil yang menjajakan makanan dan minuman.

Suasana kawasan ini kian eksklusif menjelang detik-detik terbenamnya matahari (sunset) di balik pulau-pulau yang terdapat di sekitar kawasan pantai ini. Pengunjung dapat menikmatinya dari pinggir pantai atau dari pondok-pondok wisata yang banyak terdapat di kawasan tersebut.

Pantai pasir panjang terbagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu pasir panjang 1 dan pasir panjang 2. Yang sering dikunjungi wisatawan adalah pasir panjang 1, karena letaknya strategis dari pintu masuk dan cocok untuk bermain surfing atau sekedar bermain dengan keluarga. sedangakan pasir panjang 2, terkadang sepi. karena kawasan ini diliputi dengan batu-batuan besar dan beberapa stayhouse untuk menginap. untuk lebih lanjut, anda bisa melihat video dibawah ini :
